Disagree with the President on foreign policy? Have better ideas on averting the fiscal cliff? Well, here's your chance to throw your in your two cents.
Looking@Democracy, a competition launched by The Illinois Humanities Council and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, is asking great minds to create multimedia that offers suggestions on strengthening democracy. The foundation will be giving away $100,000 in prizes for short provocative submissions that create a dialogue about government's role, according to the foundation's statement.
Submissions such as videos, graphics, podcasts, public service announcements and music videos qualify -- as long as they are digital and share a story about rethinking and improving democracy. Submissions can be made online through April 30, 2013, according to the event's official website.
