'Doomsday Preppers': Man Has Invested More Than $100K On Homemade Ammo, Unique Weapons (VIDEO) Jan 2nd 2013, 10:45 Bryan was featured on the latest episode of "Doomsday Preppers," and he's certainly prepared. Especially if preparedness is measured in ammo. In fact, Bryan has spent more than $100,000 on an assembly line so he can make his own ammo. But homemade ammo isn't the only innovation Bryan has going for him. He also has a bunch of unique weapons that potential assailants won't see coming. "One of them is a walking cane that shoots a 38-caliber pistol round," he said proudly. "The other is a pen that shoots a 25 automatic pistol round.
