Charlie Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll, was born 181 years ago today. One of our favorite quotes from his work, "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!" goes well with his own real-world creations - as well as his children's stories, he also invented his own shorthand called Nyctography, as well as braintwisting logic puzzles and math problems.
But his best-loved impossibilities definitely resided in Wonderland, a place where, mentally, we like to spend most of our days.
