While the Los Angeles Lakers continue their on-court woes this season, Metta World Peace is eyeing a business win with his forthcoming prank series, "Metta World Pranks."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 33-year-old Lakers Forward has partnered with LMNO Productions (on behalf of his Artest Media Group) to develop the "Punk'd"-esque series, which will revolve around athletes playing practical jokes on one another.
"Pranking and practical jokes are part of the athletic culture, so it comes naturally to Metta," LMNO Productions president and CEO Eric Schotz said to The Hollywood Reporter. "Metta has a great sense of humor and this show will be a natural vehicle for him to showcase a side of his personality we don't get to see on the court."
