'The X-Files' Comic Book: IDW Working With Fox, Show's Producers On New Series Jan 28th 2013, 19:54 "The X-Files" is getting the comic book treatment from IDW. The comic series picks up where second "The X-Files" film left off. According to IDW, they're submitting everything for the new series that's launching in June 2013 to Fox and Chris Carter's Ten Thirteen production company for approval. IDW has also been in contact with "The X-Files" producer Frank Spotnitz, who might get involved with the comic series if schedules permit. A creative team has yet to be announced. No word on whether the comic book will be an official continuation of the TV series a la "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" at Dark Horse comics. Read More... More on Reality-Free
