Kate Middleton's due date is official!
Well, sort of. Clarence House announced Monday morning that the Duchess of Cambridge, pregnant with her and Prince William's first child, is expecting the baby in July. According to AP, the royal couple "are delighted to confirm" the due date, although they still won't tell the world whether it's a boy, a girl or twins (!).
A July due date comes as a bit of a surprise: When the palace first announced Catherine's pregnancy in early December, reports speculated that the duchess was about 12 weeks along, putting her due date in May or June of 2013. A July due date means the announcement must have come even earlier, an unconventional move supposedly forced by Kate's worsening morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum.
