Mark Yudof Retiring: University Of California President Plans To Step Down In August Jan 18th 2013, 20:54 Mark Yudof, the president of the University of California system, announced Friday he will end his tenure on Aug. 31, 2013 After consulting with his family, Yudof said he plans to return to teaching law at the UC Berkeley campus. "The prior 18 months brought a spate of taxing health issues," Yudof said. "Though these challenges have been largely overcome, I feel it is time to make a change in my professional lifestyle."
