Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman Dead? Guatemala Probes If Drug Lord Killed In Shootout

GUATEMALA CITY — Guatemalan authorities said they are investigating whether a man killed Thursday in a shootout near the border with Mexico is most-wanted drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

Government spokesman Francisco Cuevas said two drug gangs clashed in Peten, an area that has seen an increase in drug violence. At least two men died in the shootout, he said.

BROCKTON, Mass. -- Police in Massachusetts say a 10-year-old boy called 911 because he didn't want to go to bed.

Brockton police say the boy made the emergency call just after 8 p.m. Wednesday and told the dispatcher he was calling to report his mother because he did not want to go to bed.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Michael Phelps still hops in the pool occasionally, but only so the most decorated Olympian of all-time can get a little peace and quiet.

"Whenever I'm in the pool I don't have to answer questions, I don't have to say `Hi!'" Phelps said. "It's my time. That's something that I don't get often. It's a good little getaway for me."

Robbie Amell could be joining his cousin on The CW.

The actor, whose cousin is "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, has landed the lead role on the teen-centric network's "Tomorrow People" pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The "Revenge" alum will coincidentally play a young man named Stephen, who just wants to be normal and is relieved to learn he's part of the Tomorrow People ("who represent the next stage in human evolution") ... instead of just crazy, THR reports. He possesses the gifts of telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation and stopping time.

In a Feb. 20 column written for ultra-conservative WorldNetDaily, the controversial conservative activist and proud National Rifle Association board member claims that, while he himself "honors blacks" every day, President Obama and his Democratic party are engineering the destruction of black America:

With February being Black History Month, historians looking back at this timeframe studying black Americans will judge it as a complete and total disaster. And they won't blame President Bush.

Smithfield Packing Co. Recalls 38,000 Pounds Of Pork Sausage

WASHINGTON -- Smithfield Packing Co. is recalling about 38,000 pounds of pork sausage that may contain small pieces of plastic, likely from gloves.

The Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service reports that the Virginia company recalled certain containers of a product called "Gwaltney mild pork sausage roll."
