Michael Dixon Leaves Missouri: Suspended Guard Leaves School Amid Sexual Assault Allegations
Nov 30th 2012, 16:02

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Suspended Missouri guard Michael Dixon left the team Thursday after two sexual assault claims became public this week.

Dixon, who was not charged in either case, has been benched all season for No. 13 Missouri (5-1). The senior averaged 13.5 points as Missouri's sixth man last season and was a projected starter.

Neither Dixon nor the university addressed the allegations in the university's two-sentence announcement of his departure.

Karl Rove: American Crossroads Was 'Worst Volunteer Job I've Had In My Life'
Nov 30th 2012, 16:24

Karl Rove says that divisiveness within the Republican Party is to blame for Republicans' failure to retake the Senate and the presidency, despite millions of dollars in outside spending.

The GOP needs to quell its infighting, he told an audience Wednesday at the Kansas Livestock Association's 100th convention in Wichita. The problem with the Republican Party isn't social issues, he said, but "an unwillingness to acknowledge differences."

"I'd rather have somebody who agrees with me most of the time than to send somebody there who's going to vote against my values and my views and do the wrong thing most of the time," he said.

'90210' Celebrates 100th Episode With A Striptease At The Playboy Mansion (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)
Nov 30th 2012, 16:00

"90210" is celebrating its big 100th episode milestone with the episode "902-100" (Mon., Dec. 3 at 8 pm. EST on The CW), and you better believe there'll be plenty of shock-and-awe moments.

Of course we've heard about returning friends and big guest stars, but HuffPost TV has an exclusive sneak peek at the biggest wow moment of the episode: Watch the clip above to see Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) having a change of heart, apologizing for all the horrible things she's ever done to get ahead. Of course it's how she apologizes that's so memorable -- she's 100 percent naked.

With all her friends, frenemies, straight-up enemies and guest star Denise Richards looking on, Naomi bares it all while baring her soul before getting pelted with fancy, expensive hors d'oeuvres.

McDonald's Bagel Burgers Combine Two American Classics In France
Nov 30th 2012, 16:09

Weird things can happen to American foods that travel to France. The case in two points? Bagels and McDonald's.

It's shockingly totally possible to find a good New York-style bagel in Paris -- but they don't serve them the way they do in America, with cream cheese and lox. Instead, they use them as the containers for big sandwiches full of cold cuts and cheese, sometimes pressed like a panini. And McDonald's is wildly popular in France, but the restaurants are significantly fancier there than they are in America.

This bizarre skew make it seem almost logical that when McDonald's France wanted to follow its smash hit McBaguette with a new limited-time offering, it would try putting a burger on a bagel. The results of that madcap experiment are visible on the French McDonald's website and available in McDonald's throughout France right now. Here's a screenshot of the former:

Louie Gohmert On Debt Ceiling: 'That's Our Leverage'
Nov 30th 2012, 16:04

NEW YORK CITY -- One of the only new proposals that President Obama introduced in his opening bid to resolve the impasse over the so-called fiscal cliff concerns a political showdown set to take place weeks, if not months, after the fiscal cliff has expired.

The administration is calling on House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to relinquish much of Congress' authority over raising the nation's debt ceiling limit, as members of the Republican caucus signal that they want to use the ceiling as leverage to extract more concessions from the administration. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), an outspoken conservative, outlined the strategy in some blunt terms during an interview Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program.

"We do have leverage because early next year the debt ceiling gets reached," he said. "And this president has got to have more ceiling. He's got to have it moved. Sean, we have leverage. And this is a good time to say that we're the ones promoting fairness. We're the ones that want everyone to pay their share. You talk a good game but put it up here where your mouth is."

Damian Lillard Is Afraid Of Statues: Portland Trail Blazers Rookie Explains Unusual Phobia
Nov 30th 2012, 16:02

Portland point guard Damian Lillard might be the current frontrunner to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. But if he goes on to have an illustrious professional career he might not wan to be honored as hoops icons like Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson.

Before the Trail Blazers fell to the Wizards in Washington, D.C., Lillard tweeted his impressions of our nation's capital and let the world in on one of his eccentricities -- a fear of historical statues.
